The opinions expressed above are not those of my family, my church or myself,
but they are the opinions of Humphrey Bogart as revealed to me through the medium of my pet hamster, Dr.Samuel L. Jackson
Always on when I have to study for exams but am a Phil the Power fan, also have time for Wayne Mardle and Mark Dudbridge

When's the proper darts on? Not this premiership franchise darts...
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.
Depends what you mean by proper. Is it the best dart players or the old embassey darts which is on after christmas.
The Old Embassy is the best tournament traditionally, but nobody comes close to the players in the PDC. Taylor & Lloyd would devour Barneveld or any of the other boys 9 times out of ten.
Yeah the proper darts on the BBC, not the sell out sky bastárds... Cheers, look forward to the new year glued to Lakeside...

Word has it that this is Barneveld's last year at the Lakeside he is heading to the PDC I think if he dose he will give Taylor a run for his money.

Barney has been trashed twice by Taylor already this year so I wouldnt be pinning my hopes on him to break Taylors dominance. Poor old " Jaws" colapsed last night after throwing near perfect darts for two sets, is there anybody left in tournament to stop Taylor, as its beginning to get just a little boring.Originally Posted by dublinharp

Part-Mason was a cracking match last night......Part-Mardle should be just as good as well.
phil taylor won in the end with a whitewash 7-0.
the semi final he had the night before was a cracker.6-5 i think it went.wouldn't normally watch darts but it was on at work and its hard to ignore especially with nothing else on the box

Taylor-Mardle was a great match. Wayne was very unlucky not to beat Phil. Excellent performance by Phil in the final against his great rival Manley

Dont think he was unlucky. He had 2 darts at a double to make it 5-3 after being 3-0 down and when you get your chances against Taylor, you have to have the 'bottle' to take them. In the last set there was only going to be one winner, Mardle knew he had blown it. When Taylor got his chance he did not need any second chances. Hopefully Mardle will learn from it.Originally Posted by Maz
