    Fixture congestion at Lansdowne

    Holy St. Mary's!
March 01, 2006 Swedish International and rugger Leinster Schools semi's down for the same day.

Is this a small oversight that can be corrected with the children playing in Donnybrook or are Dublin Sports Fans going to be treated to some sporting diversity. I won't mind, providing the International is the main event and the price of the ticket is reasonable.

BTW that lansdowne development website is linked from the FAI site.
Its the first time I noticed it. I put my name on their mailing list even though they believe Lansdowne Rd. to be the "home of Irish soccer"

At least Dalyer is still the Home of Irish Football.

surely they can change the rugby to donnybrook. They dont even get big crowds for theses games and if the rugby is on before the soccer the pitch wont be in a great condition.

Schools semis aren't usually in Lansdowne. I'd assume they'll be moved to Donnybrook.
