This is typical ignorance - United do not change their shirts every season - every home shirt has a two year run. However as this was Umbro's last contracted season, the current away shirt would only run for the one season - but it's reversible nature made it the best value shirt ever. Most clubs change shirts a lot more regularly than United - Liverpool had about five on the go this season. The GAA counties change every year almost without notice.

But we dont change our strip every year, we change it every 2 years (which is about right IMO) and we change the away strip every 2 years aswell so theres something new to get every Xmas
it smacks of money grabbing to me...
Money grabbing or raising funds for the club???

Am I right in saying that Cork County GAA have had a different jursy every year for the last 3 years (including this year)?

Spot on - if not four - I remember paying full price for a Cork GAA shirt four or five days before the team lined out for a championship game in a brand new shirt - yet if a soccer club did this there would have been war in the media

It would be a disgrace if City were to change their home gear again after only having it three quarters of a season. (Not just because I paid £40 for it)

Red and white with green trimmings are the best colours in my opinion, as more potential fans would relate better to the traditional "blood and bandage".

The away gear then should be like the original City one, white jersey, green shorts and red trim. Wouldn't this keep everyone happy?
