FAI chief welcomes Abbotstown announcement


Football Association of Ireland (FAI) Chief Executive Officer John Delaney has welcomed an announcement by the Minister for Sport and Tourism John O’Donoghue in relation to the first phase of the Abbotstown Sports Campus.

The announcement has outlined plans to put in place a Headquarters and National Academy that provides training, education, competition and advisory facilities, which is an integral part of the Association’s plans for the development of the game and in particular the Technical Development Plan.
