Would you be suggesting that Dublin City were never elected to the league? That can't be right, surely....Originally Posted by anto eile
Waterfords attendances are heavily boosted by 3500 & 5000 local derby crowds. Probably adds 4-500 to their yearly average. Lomngford have no local rivalries so never get more than 2-300 away fans.

If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.
Well they weren't ! They just took-over/assumed the Home Farm slot when that club wanted out of senior football. Nothing about the 2 clubs was the same - bar the league slot. It'd be like Derry City leaving the league, but Institute magically taking our place. It should've been up to the league to decide such changes - not characters like Seery in smoke-filled back-roomsOriginally Posted by Macy

Sarcasm, Steve, sarcasm. Wouldn't be a Macy post without it!
Not to mention some of the **** he came out with about City fans. The man is an absolute prat of the highest order.
Jeez guys - there's a whole raft of smileys along the right-hand side of the page for a reason you know...!Originally Posted by pineapple stu

That mightn't be entirely correct, i mean no one actually understood any of what he was trying to say, he could have been praising City fans for all we know !!Originally Posted by Éanna

Wow, what a come back. Superb.
My limited Irish tells me Maynard's post translates roughly as "Takes one to know one". In which case, see above.

That was pretty much what I understood from it as well. Now if he (or anyone else) wants to provide details of why I'm a prat, please do go ahead, I'm sure I'll get a giggle out of it. But at least I'm not the poor deluded fool supporting one man's ego and thinking that its a football clubOriginally Posted by pineapple stu
I will enjoy taking points from your club most of all sir, even if it's only one.
Ciarog is a beetle by the way...slightly more repulsive than your average, run-of-the-mill prat.
Grand. Have your little cup final so. I suppose if we do draw one game with ye, it'll be like waterford all over again- celebrating a point like it was the league title.
Nothing wrong with deflating the ego's of the rabble army now and again and reminding them that there are other teams outside of Turners Cross who are well and truly able of competing with ye .
