Rovers wrong to ban Roddy – McDonnell


New Dublin City signing Gavin McDonnell has hit out at former club Shamrock Rovers after completing his switch to the club which defeated the Hoops in the recent promotion/relegation play-off.

Former Armagh City man McDonnell was unveiled as one of four new signings by the Vikings this week.

But he insists that Rovers did not help their cause by ditching Roddy Collins just before the crucial clashes with Dublin.
