Good news everyone - just got offered another 18yr old midfielder with a six skill! It will probably be a couple of seasons before he has the chance to get into the first team with the current squad though That Ulster is a bench warmer was unthinkable for us about three seasons ago.
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

i generally always take a chance on them but the quality usually isnt up to much
I reckon it is pretty much a lottery. I generally hold back, largely because it means that I have space to take someone in if they are good enough. Kilorglin came in at 6 about two or three seasons ago. I wouldn't expect another good one for a spell.

No guarantee that this new kid will be any good, by the way.

Ive been giving the ones with 1 or 2 special q's a go lately. Salthill and Hanner the most recent, they both had bassists and goals last night. Good thing about the first is you can give the 4-5 rated young fellas experience and they get goals etc. Have a nice few young lads coming up, so if I can get promoted this year, and hang in for a season or two. We'll have a nice wee side.

Do you reckon that putting groupies in your line-up will help in the long term?

No need to worry, I'm already wearing me coat.

Delighted to get the win- if only I had gotten the three points last week I'd be four points clear and only have two other teams to worry about. Starlets-Fags is a big game this week.

Just been looking for desperate inspiration from our old games against Flynny's Knees

Took four seasons to beat us and when they did, it was 4-0 and Shannon, Carrick, Navan, Tengvall and Kilmainham who did it. Nice to see some things never change

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

Lucky guess of the playmaker costs me victory.

Only two points between the top four now, with the First Divisoin's equivilent of Super Sunday coming up next.

    Fags vs Burton
    UCD vs Starlets

If ourselves and the Starlets play like we did tonight we will hammer them. Only an if though, although their form is poor so looks like they will under perform again.

Good win for me against the Starlets after a few shaky weeks of indifferent form. But it came at a cost. injuries picked up by 2 players. I'm hoping that we're over dip in form and can drive on. Tough game to Burton now who we owe from the last match(4-1 loss). Win here and I'm in a great position...lose and I've a lot of hard work ahead.

At the least I don't have to play anyone in the top 4 after the Burton game but with the few inactive teams now active no one is a pushover anymore.Going to be an interesting close to the season.

I was waiting till those games to get everyone to 100%. Might still now but need results in my next two games or else it will be a big risk.

I was going to do thwe exact same thing actually so I'm in the same catch 22 situation as you. I'll prob chance a one or two players regardless...

    Muah-ha-haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Incidentally, I reckon (and have here before) that if UCD can get promoted and sort their old away form problem out, we'll all have to watch out.

I also expect Landenstown to hand us a thumping tomorrow.

Good result against the Provos though. Pity the loss of three quality players and an injury to Valentia stopped the game being the display of quality it could have been.

One question though: How does Liffey still get a game?
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

One chance per game the Lazy 11 have created in their last 4 matches. Doing well.

To be honest, all my players had a green arrow for the last match. I thought I might sneak a point.

We believe in him...not many else do, but we do

Ok, so he's not a Carrick, Shannon, Camoranesi, Milbourne, Boyle or Valentia...

He's not even a Pádriagh Canavan or Braden Rosslare - he wouldn't even be a sub for Sligo Rovers
