If anybody in the lower division fancies a friendly.. just give me a shout. I got a young striker through the youths near the end of the season and even though he played both games that were left and has great average form, his dev rating is under 10. What a balls that is.

Can't say I'm a big fan of this new development thing either.

Yeah, its b*llox. Its defo a lot harder to get players to over 15. Tho mind you I've also had a very unexpected title challenge this season, which is hasn't helped. Comes to a head tonight - away to Pants - winner takes all!!

Many congrats to Ragball Rovers. Very deserving champions...and in a way its good to see a different name on the cup for a change. Fair play.

Now to see what the change report brings...kind of considering calling time on Pants - been over 4 and a half years now, might be time for a change.

Seems to be a general lack of enthusiasm about this league nowadays?

And DV isn't really all that bad...just really have to give you younger players more games than before I think.

It's still a good competitive league, ruined my chances by having to play the young players too often at the end of the season, haven't really got to grips with the DV thing yet either. Looking forward to seeing my change report anyway, hopefully get a few decent jumps.

Change report is done- very disappointing. All players got a plus bar one (the aforementioned late youth product) but only a few visible increases, almost all for the very young players. Plus on of the guys just got an injury that'll have him out for a whole month. Even some of the guys with 15 or so of DV didn't visibly increase.

Overall there's +10 skill and -1 with the total also coming out as 10. So I guess the team is better- they just don't look better.

The form ratings for the team are through the bloody floor though, had to basically empty the old bank account for training all round.

That happens every off season. Players get out of shape i suppose. A couple of friendlies will help with that as well i suppose.

11 visible increases for me. Have to be happy with that.

Any word on when the new season will start? The two big divisions certainly made the season a long haul.. Maybe time to back to 3 leagues of 8? If the LOI has taught us anything, it's that you should never settle on a single format.

Surely as a Dundalk fan you'd be used to this.

Sorry Dillonman, that's just the way it worked out when I cleared away the inactive managers.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

Am well ****ed off- I went in yesterday and set the tactics for yesterdays game, but when it took place it used the tactic from the game before. I would have lost anyway, but wanted to spread the match experience around.

Oh well, the traditional fade out of the promotion race is well and truly on
