0-0 bore draw with Provos today. My forward line gets worse by the week. Ehlsrud put on the transfer list immediately after the match.

    Good pre-season for me overall:

Sligo Rovers F.C. 1-1 Workington AFC,
Sligo Rovers F.C. 3-1 Medium to Large Club,
    Sligo Rovers F.C. 3-1 Loftys Lazy 11,
followed by tonight's result of Sligo Rovers F.C.[RESERVE TEAM] 2-0 Landenstown Forest.

    Looking forward to new season

Four matches, four wins, thirteen for, four against, rounding off with a good tough game and win against the MLC.

My experience of this kind of pre-competition form is pretty damning: ƒ£¥nn¥ A£b€rt$' first win of the season to come in the second game against The Tree Huggers, and that only because of their away form...
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

Ah I'm not worried Sligoman not yet anyway have had a reasonable pre season up to now. Was hoping to have brought ina couple of decent players but was outbidded.

Anyone want to do up the odds for the coming season.

I fancy Flynny Alberts to win this season and the league will finish

    Flynny Alberts
    Provisional SRFC
    Pants AFC
    Loftys Lazy 11
    UCD AFC
    Landenstown Forest
    Cobh Ramblers F.C
    Burton Albion FC
    Sligo Starlets
    Looprevil FC

Can see a good relegation battle between the final five teams

    and Div One:

    Patsys Fags
    Sligo Rovers F.C.
    Medium to Large Club
    Wexford Boys
    Badger Gravy
    Lost in Portugal
    Workington AFC
    Lee FC
    Wexford Youths FC
    The Winning Team

Bit hard to call but I think the two more estabhlished clubs will come back up but the next 4 will give it good go. Wexford Boys will want to make up for the final day dissappointment.
Everyone needs something to believe in, I believe I'll have another beer.

Don't see us finishing 3rd this time out. Actually think yourselves and UCD will finish above us. We have dire players up front, and I don't have the funds to do anything about it right now.

No offence intended, dp, but I think it's fair to say we got more out of a very dour game than yourselves, but I went asleep watching it...so will have to watch the footage of it instead

Liljedahl is a diva, so the more game time with as many different combinations the better and clean sheets even better. Liffey, Naujoks, Silverspjut and Valentia also getting their first and a good 90 minutes.

Damn, Bluebeard did you have a full team out?, I'm still waiting on my star buy of the pre-season to come back to fitness on the 25th other than him I played a full strength side
    Looking good so far

    Thanx DFX

I like the way I'm not being tipped for promotion. Only lost my last warm up game by a single goal and that with an experimental side. If I can add another strong defender and midfielder I'll be very happy. My form levels are pretty high and I had a great last half of last season.

Half of them will be regular my best Midfielder was injured in the last game of the season by someones bruising tactics. Team is low on the form side of things as well so wasn't expecting a win and it was a away game
