This relegation battle is tense, can't see any of the three pick up points in final game which means it's between me and Burton on goal difference imo...go easy on me Saturday Pants

    Just realised. Sorry PI

Having said that, Sligo away is always a match we struggle in TBH.

In a way I'm hoping they beat you so it doesn't hurt so much.

I have the tactics set for one last big gamble, considering I've only 1 point away from home all season I'm not optimistic.

Both keepers definitely up a skill bar (av form 15 for the both of them)

Shaun and Sligo might go up, Gorka and Skaggmark should go up one and other two defenders prob stay the same.

Carlsson should go up, Caj might. Joyce definitely up, Kerrigan and Redondo might, Asbrink and Marney definite.

Donegan should go up, can't really say about Kunthert but av form 14. Mushi should go up.

Basically 12 visible increases is what I'm hoping for from all that.

Nice to record a big win, if worsening Burton's goal difference by one goal. Davidsson scored two against Alberts, had a rest and comes back in to pick up three.

think im promoted now?! woohoo, great day for the parish! doubt my form change will be up to much, form generally been dropping 2nd half of the season.
Irony of it all, a 4-0 win over 'arrow harps' got me promotion, I lost to Arrow Harps in the FAI junior cup on Sunday 3-1 after extra time in real life football, sickened, if only I could swap results
Havin a weekend away is quite frankly, lettin ur team mates down!

No promotion for me this season. Wasn't expecting to go up really anyway, next season will be our year though!

From my team in the Shams league:

Eadbhárd Mayo's recent goal has been voted 'Goal of the Month' by Alan Shearer on 'Match of the Day'! As a result, Eadbhárd Mayo's form goes through the roof! You will have to warn him not to keep harping on about it though as it may upset the form in the rest of the team if they end up jealous or resentful of the success! It was a wonderful side-winding, overhead bicycle kick though!

Was the penalty scored by Peyton for the Burts against the Provos the first goal from a keeper in the game?
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

Dick Brush has got two for the Sligs.

I had a keeper in my first or second season who was a free kick specialist. Definitely scored at least one, I think that was all though.

    Form-wise, it's a mixed bag..

    Haggander - 17
    Harte - 17
    Hedman - 16
    Debbi - 15
    Breen - 15
    Cobh - 14
    Maynooth - 14
    Valentia - 14
    Piquet - 13
    Nardini - 13
    Liljedahl - 13

Boyle's injuries have restricted his form again.

Don't want to start jumping the gun but I think I have a very good chance to at least challenge for the title this season.

Eight visible increases, one visible decrease. My defence will be much stronger next season but my midfield will be a bit weaker. 8 others with non visible increases, 1 with a non visible decrease. First division will be interesting.

11 visible increases including Haggander +2, so can't complain. He cost 1.1m..

Looks like it might be a three or four horse race..though Bluebeard probably still won't admit they've won the league

It will be a lot more interesting this year. Alberts haven't had a huge increase in skill level, Provos not as bad but still not hugely significant, Pants seem to come have come off quite badly (I think). Ourselves and the Drunks have had quite good CRs, as have the Forest although they have been hit by retirements. Can't forget about Loftys either. I think these seven will be a cut above the rest next season. I'd say the gap of 30 points from 1-7 will be reduced by a fair amount.

Or the 10 point gap between 2nd-3rd.

Top two still look the strongest, but UCD have the age advantage on ourselves and Alberts, I haven't looked at Pants yet. Cobh, Sligo and Finn Harps will have a fight on their hands. For our age, it was a good CR. Silverspjut, Di Napoli, Liljedahl, Maynooth and Davidsson weren't likely to go up because of age and Boyle was injured.

Everyone will have to hit the ground running.

I won't believe we've won the league until the first games of next season have been played - you forget that I follow the League of Ireland...

Wouldn't say we came off badly Dman in fairness. I suppose we lost on the swings what we gained on the roundabout.

Camoranesi down from 10 to 9
Aboyne down from 10 to 9 (surprised at that TBH)
Geladaris down from 8 to 7

Sjolund up from 5 to 6
Kristofferson up from 7 to 8
Cansund up from 7 to 8
Stapleton up from 9 to 10
Thilderkvist up from 6 to 7

So who wants the asterisk then?

    1. Flynny Alberts* - yes they did indeed win the league again.
    2. Provisional SRFC* - yes, they actually got within a point!

or 7. Sligo Rovers* - No, you're not seeing things, they did stay up.

Ahh, that is a relief - the asterisk to me is the sign of a league that is run as I best understand it...
