Was out of town since Friday afternoon - but no excuse for the Forest game, theres no legislating for conceding two direct freekicks. No excuses for todays game either really, if I had got back with a bit more time to spare I'd have realise I should tight mark Ravenhill - but fairplay to the Babysitters turning out to be a force.

Forests perserverence will pay off eventually, obviously not this season but in the next 2-3.... mind you I thought that about my own team!!! But it deffo looks like X11 is slowly "phasing in" a new elite - which is good for the league in the long run.

I'd definitely agree. Complete new world order at the top these days. Wexford and the DBS really have made their mark in the top flight now, and Landenstown the only team to stop us winning in both ties this season, and the last side to beat us (that 5-1 whopping last season. With UCD the strongest team in the First, and probably likely to be one of the top three or four in the Premier, it could be a fair tussle next season.
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

Two places available in the NPL private league. Code- 85782. One of the highest ranked leagues (inside top 40), regular PRs, multiple VIP prizes and all managers active (120) it is a very enjoyable league. I'd definitely recommend it if you have got the quota.

Massive game for me tonight, really need to put space between me and relegation, if I lose, I'm back in the relegation zone. Again taking a risk by not fielding my strongest side but want some of the younger lads to get match experience.

Wexford Boys - Pants AFC 0 - 4
Cobh Ramblers F.C - Landenstown Forest 1 - 5
Provisional SRFC - Drunk Babysitters 1 - 3
Sligo Rovers F.C. - Club 18-30 6 - 1
Loftys Lazy 11 - Flynny Alberts 2 - 1

Great win, the 4 rated forward had an 8 rated match today

Loftys next, who are, typically, finding their form before their match with us

10 goals in 4 of the last 5 games. Appalling.

Great form upfront and in midfield matters not a jot. Valentia form18; av. form 15, Cobh form 19, av. 14, Hedman, Boyle, Piquet, Davidsson all the same. Bit of a problem if there's a sieve behind them.

Home record is ruined by this season

Might be an experimental side tonight with some familiar names kicked out. Also noticed that we have Tony Nolan on duty (S9, H9) which invariably means red cards and a disallowed goal for usually the away side..

Demian can't stop scoring- 4 goals in 2 games now. Got through a tough game while managing to get a couple of fringe players close to 100% experience so good result for me for more than one reason.

Should win tonight. Overdue a big game from Donegan- think his highest performance this season has only been a 10, which is only OK considering he is a 9 skill. In control of 3/4 awards, need him to start scoring fast to have a chance of a clean sweep.

Fags slip up again so that's them out of the title race. Still a 2 point gap at the top and will probably remain the same after tonight. Actually just noticed that a win guarantees Primera Liga football next season.

Looks like the Sligs will survive relegation but more shockingly (with all due respect) look at 2-3- (and to a lesser extent) 4. Lets see can they hold out till the end of the season- Provos and Pants still in with a shout...

Tonight's Results

Wexford Boys 1-2 Provisional SRFC
Sligo Rovers F.C. 2-2 Cobh Ramblers F.C
Drunk Babysitters 1-0 Landenstown Forest
Flynny Alberts 6-0 Club 18-30
Pants AFC 1-1 Loftys Lazy 11
-----------------
Raging I couldn't beat Cobh. Think I'll have to rely on the opposition teams beating Lofty and Cobh because I can't see me picking up any points in the final two.

Close enough match - fair result....Safety zone obscurity for Pants this season, quite a fall from grace given the 3 previous runner up spots. Annoyingly none of my aging defenders are retiring at the end of the season. Leaves an awful dilemma. Dya hang onto a 10 rated 33 year old, and a 9 rated 33 year old? . Freekick king Geladaris may get shipped out to make room for a younger player.

For all intents and purposes I'd say they are out of it. They need to win both remaining games, and I'd say they'll just about manage the draw away to your lot. Plus, our home form is fairly poor and TBF Sligo are more than capable of taking a point of us at the Pantywell.

Congrats to Dman on securing promotion.

Cobh threw away their last chance tonight, even though they did manage to concede less than 4, I'm not sure on lofty..

For us, a few players will be out again and Valentia is suspended, so you never know. Don't want to lose at home again though, but lofty are due a win against us especially after we robbed them earlier..
