Two weeks experimentation, one good performance ending in valiant defeat and one meltdown against Sligo (even if it was only 1-0 on the scoreboard).

Time to take the next few games seriously and make sure I don't get dragged back towards the relegation scrap. Very little separating most of the teams in the top division. My priority is still building a team that might eventually challenge the top boys.

Have to say I'm delighted with our last two results given we've played two 4 rated 19 yo's. Though I will admit that the defender was subbed by Pearcey today when he got injured. Not looking forward to going to the Empress though.

Shocker in the 1st Div - bigger than the Sligo/Wexford game even - Burton beat UCD 3-1 at the Bowl. Fags take top spot after yet another demolition.
I'm not surpriesed we lost tbh we've no consistency this year two decent results and then this defeat

Done in by a free kick. Now cut adrift from the top 3 and well and truly sucked down towards the bottom (points wise not position wise). Good to see Van der Weijden get a couple, really need one of the strikers to hit form - if they do we should be OK....but if we don't win our next few games we could be in for a scrap.

    Provos 3-2 Pants
    Wexford 3-0 C1830
    Forest 2-2 Alberts
    Cobh 2-2 Loftys
    Babysitters 2-1 Sligo

Burton thrash Patsys this week...have to go down as the team of the week. Made a 2 horse race very much a 3 horse one now.

Whats worse have patsys on tuesday with 4 suspended and 1 injured...could be a whitewash!

Gambled on Cobh turning up and haven't beaten Pants at home in nearly 4 seasons, so we're happy

Cut price top clash on Tuesday - Nardini, Haggander, Boyle, Shannon, Ulster, Lumintang and Mathieson all out.

Played my first 3 games with Dundalk F.C who had not picked up a point before-hand.
    Sligo Superstars - Dundalk F.C 0-2
    Looprevil FC - Dundalk F.C 0-4
    Dundalk F.C - Finn Harps 1-4

    Loftys Lazy 11 - Wexford Boys 0 - 5 (0 - 5)
    Pants AFC - Cobh Ramblers F.C 4 - 1 (0 - 1)
    Landenstown Forest - Sligo Rovers F.C. 1 - 1 (1 - 0)
    Club 18-30 - Drunk Babysitters 2 - 0 (2 - 0)
    Flynny Alberts - Provisional SRFC 1 - 0 (0 - 0)

Delighted with the young players so far. Borgstrand (19 yo, 4 rated) nabbed 2 goals on his debut, and my midfielder (same age and rating) grabbed his first goal today too. Wexford defo the most improved team this year.

    Alberts up next....

1st and only shot at home 91st minute. Decimated with injuries and suspensions though for that match. I'd be sacked anywhere else though.

Good result. My defence is depleted for the visit of shams, with that and the budget for security in that game it's tough. My fans safety against this shower is important though.

Things getting interesting in the FD- Starlets win away to the Fags means that only four points separates the top four.

Got well and truly done by Burton last week. Strange as this may sound if they had their best two strikers available I probably would have got the win.

Double header against the Fags coming up. 4 points should be enough to stay ahead of them for the rest of the season.

Harps are a decent side. Manager seems to be quite good- keeping players on high form and clued in tactically. FC Rovers of Sligo are decent enough too. Dundalk have plenty of money to improve their team as well so the FD will probably be more competitive next season, especially with a lesser team like Sligo replacing one of the three going up.

I don't think many Provisional SRFC supporters will be travelling on Saturday. It's been so long since we've had to go there that we've forgotten the way.

How Burton Albion are still down in the FD with that midfield and Sligo up here I'll never know.

Just managed to slip past the Provos - very near run thing. A pity that neither of us had a full side seeing the games tend to be a lot more exciting when we do, but I'll take the win - I'd have accounted a draw a good result last night before the game.

Double header with the Pants now. Only beaten them once in the past two season, but I can't afford to drop points here, as Provos have two byes back to back. Wexford should pick up points too, but it being the Cobh Slashers, they'll end up with only half a team for the following week.
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

    Naaah, wouldn't be that

You'd think we'd go given that with no cup, we don't get to go to FD grounds much
