The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Trust a corkie to think it was a good idea...

Didn't like Georges comments on Shelbourne, True or not, these things are best off kept out of the papers.
His attitude on and off the pitch irritates me at times but he has the genius and as was said previous , better to have him on your team than against you.
The majority of his bookings are for dissent and I honestly think the vast majority of EL referees are now less likely to give him frees for valid fouls because of his attitude.
He has a little pimple head and is great pals with Robbie Williams, he is also forever indebted to Darth Dolan for the help he gave him in overcoming his demons and for this he may never be forgiven.

But we're talking about George "Rat Face" O' Callaghan. Why are you talking about Wesley "Preditor" CharlesOriginally Posted by GavinZac

[QUOTE=tiktok]While I've admitted that I was disappointed with georgie's reaction and I'd like to see that type of "acting the ******" wiped out of the game, Crawley got himself sent off, if he hadn't been stupid enough to throw his head at Georgie, none of this would have happened would it? /QUOTE]
Remember, it was a feigned headbutt NOT an attempted one.

How do you know he didn't just make a balls of headbutting Georgie.
Even if you were correct, he throws his head at Georgie, Georgie drops, but the Ref is meant to know that Crawley was pretending all along?

Galway and Sligo fans recently were warned over trolling each other's forums, I guess you missed that because you only seem to visit the Waterford and Cork sections, looking for arguments.
No one blamed the pitch for Sunday's loss, no one blamed the jersey. If you bothered to back your opinion up with fact instead of making stuff up and shouting people might pay more attention to you.
That draw with Waterford was awful alright, sure it cost us the league![]()

I suppose if he feigned a headbutt from the half way line you'd still insist he get sent off. Anyone who saw the incident knew that the sending off was pure wrong, and that it was extraordinarily bad sportsmanship for O'Callaghan to go down clutching his face when there had been NO CONTACT AT ALL.Originally Posted by tiktok

I've never said it wasn't poor sportsmanship, I never said it was fair, I've been critical of Georgie over it, even on Shelsweb, but make no doubt about it, whatever Georgie did, it was Crawley who got himself sent off with his actions.
If he hadn't made his attempted/feigned/pretend/whatever headbutt, Georgie would have had to stay standing and Crawley would have stayed on the field.
Using your logic, say he had intended to headbutt (or punch for e.g.) Georgie but missed, and Georgie had stayed standing. would the ref have been wrong to send him off? It's not neccessarily the contact that counts, intent also plays a role, and despite Georgie's actions (which I condemned) I see no evidence that the ref wouldn't have sent off Crawley for the attempt at violent conduct anyway.
