Hard to celebrate a league win 2 weeks & 1 Cup defeat afterwards.

If numbers correct seems to as good decison as World Cup teams welcome in the Phoeix Park.

Most people would have met the players after the league win or in Jurys last night anyway.

    Apparantly 96 fm wouldn't advertise it ??
I know that i texted them several times during the day myself.

That is very poor form on their behalf, i am boycotting them now over this and will try and boycott the anchor sponsors aswell.

IMO .... it is totally out of order.

Taken from official City site forum ...

I text 96FM breakfast show this morning about what was happening tonight. I did it in the hope that they would announce something and make people aware. I didn't hear anything answer on air. I did the same on Prendeville's show and heard to reply to my text (though to be honest I wasn't listening for all 3 hours) and finally I texted at around 12.30 (turned over to RedFM then cos Ken Tobin wasn't on 96FM today and the other guy is crap).

Someone said something this evening that a reporter on 96FM this afternoon didn't really know why Patrick St was closed to traffic!?

Jaysus lads, only 500 showing up for the homecoming? Did people not know it was happening? Drogs had it advertised on their website before the game, win or lose, homecoming was on in Droigheda on Sunday night.

    couldn't go myself...
thank God for the 500 who did show up
losing the Cup Final + a sh**ty wet, cold, winter evening was always going to have an effect on numbers
Rico is right, Cup Final should be played earlier in the season when the weather is more likely to be conducive to a showpiece

I doubt if there was even that much FPB.
    2 - 300 I would put it at.
    Very, very disappointing...
We go from nearly 10,000 out the Cross two weeks ago, a reported 15,000 in Landsdowne on Sunday to that....

96 fm have 74% of the listenership and adopted a policy to not broadcast any announcements ...... I will definitely adpot a policy to boycott therm and their sponsors. Who the fúck do they think they are ??
