Paul Heffernan scores again - scored a few for Notts County and seems to be doing well this season from the limited amount I've heard.
I saw most of the first half and the end of the second half. Villa's defence was all over the shop, however I must say Doncaster played some great stuff. The scoreline did not flatter. Not only did they upset another Premiership team but they did it in style. Full credit to them.
To be honest Villa were very very poor.
Donny penalty was ball to hand pretty harsh.
Heffernan scored a good goal. Deserved.
Baros denied a stonewall penalty at 2-0 and then 50 cent himself Thornton goes up the pitch and flakes a shot that took a wicked deflection off Ridgewell and duly planted itself in the top corner. Game Over.
But as I say, whose to say, at the end of the day.

He mentioned the ref ok. I'd say his days are numbered judging by these comments from some Villa fans and if he gets booted soon, he might end up as the Ireland managerOriginally Posted by gustavo

Villa were very poor against Doncaster and deserved to be beaten, O'Leary certainly must be on thin ice now. Although I am a Liverpool supporter, I happened to be in England last weekend and was at the Charlton match in Villa Park as a neutral. There were two poor teams on show and both sets of players just did not look interested, although Villa just about shaded it by virtue of having the better chances and being marginally the better side. The game looked to be heading for stalemate though until Steve Davis scored, and the Villa fans around me were not impressed.
Milan Baros was full of energy and did a lot of running around, but there was no purpose in him in much the same way as he spent his time with Liverpool. He is capable of the sublime, but is also very frustrating to watch a la Robbie Keane. Gareth Barry looked poor aswell and although he got some good crosses in he looked lazy in closing people down. A couple of bright spots were James Milner and Steve Davis though. Milner was my man of the match, Charlton did not know how to handle his strength and he caused them huge problems every time he ran at them. Villa should try and get him permanently but that may be difficult if he keeps performing like that. There does not seem to be any belief or leadership in the team right now, and I think it is down to O'Leary to sort it out without any excuses.
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.

Roy Keane is still a pri*k!
davis continuing to improve from what i've seen, seems to be having an excellent season.
