Preston North End after kelly

Tottenham's unsettled full back Stephen Kelly is being tracked by Preston North End.

Kelly is out of contract at White Hart Lane at the end of the season and is ready to quit the Premiership club.

The 22-year-old has become frustrated at his lack of opportunities under Martin Jol and has made just two appearances this season.

He recently suggested he would leave the club next summer and Championship side Preston are purportedly keen.

In addition to interest from Deepdale, Scottish giants Celtic are also rumoured to be keeping tabs on the Irishman.

Can't see him going there, Spurs need to start playing him if they want him to sign a new contract. Foley at Luton is being linked with a move to West Ham in Jan.

He's been linked with Celtic for like 600,000pounds or something. That's fairly cheap for him.

When I read the title of the thread I thought it was referring to Alan Kelly Senior (the father of the former co-goalkeeper with Packie Bonnar and Shay Givens). Alan Kelly Senior for those who may not be aware also played in goal for Ireland in the Giles, Dunphy, Hand etc... era
