Looks like David Forde is off to Drogheda or Shelbourne. Kenny has confirmed that Derry are out of the running to resign him after Fordes refusal to relocate to the Derry area.

Don't see why we'd sign him when we already have 2 of the best in the league

As far as I know Forde has already had discussions with Shelbourne prior to the end of the season so Fenlon is obviously interested. I doubt Williams will be with you next season anyway - he'd hardly want another year of sitting on the bench when he returns from injury. Maybe he might want to join us?

Now these two are great keepers but they are not the best 2 in the league.

We have signed former Galway, Shamrock Rovers, Monaghan and kilkenny City goalkeeper Robert Forde.

Anyone on here know anything more about him other than he has won promotion with monaghan and kilkenny

Yes, he's a scumbag. He pushed a young ball boy to the ground in a rush to get the ball back from him in the Showgrounds a few years ago.

DUBLIN CITY FC have completed the signing of Drogheda United goalkeeper Gary Rogers.

The Drogheda native was formerly on the books of Shelbourne and St Francis and Vikings manager Dermot Keely was delighted with his new capture.

"Gary's a first class goalkeeper. We know his strengths and he'll be a big asset to us. He's young but he's plenty of experience but he's a very safe pair of hands and I know he'll be a big favourite with the fans," said Keely.

Gary has been a previous Supporters Player of the Year for the Drogs and was also called into the Ireland under 21 squad in 2004 by Don Givens. He appearances last season were limited only by the excellent from of Dan Connor but Keely's legendary powers of persuasion have convinced the 24-year-old that his future lies with the capital's newest Premier Division side.

Great signing for us here I think. Rumour has it we may begin to look abroad for our final few signings due to the small pool of remaining players...

Is Rogers a good signing? I thought he was getting a fair bit of stick at Drogheda? Or was that O'Dowd (or whoever the other lad was)?

Dunno if it was O'Dowd but I sorta got the impression that most Drogs fans wanted Rogers in over Dan Connor
