Prob not....I would have said Tommy Gaynor without looking it up.
dont know if the question relates only to the premier division, but in the first division, under big sam, we had Barry Ryan and Tommy Fitzgerald, scored a lot but not sure if they were top scorers.
The late Andy McEvoy incidently was leading scorer in the top flight in England in 64/5 (29 goals shared with Jimmy Greaves). He later played for Limerick and starred in the Cup Final success of 71. Arguably our greatest ever player. He wasn't a Limerickman though as he was born in Bray.
Think he also scored 5 or 6 for Ireland
