Derry City have around 723(it was that the last time I checked)
Am just wondering how many season ticket holders each club currently have. I think Sligo Rovers have in or around 400, which is ok for an avg crowd of 1819 (Credit to Pineapple Stus Stats)

about 500 adult I think, dont know about the rest, i.e. student, kids..
I think City just have a 100 or so.
They don't offer much of a saving really.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

Regardless of saving, that's a terrible figure for the best supported team in the Republic.Originally Posted by Risteard

I'm shocked that more Cork fans don't committ up-front. Any saving is better than none if you know you're going to be a regular.
You would think that, wouldn't you SteveOriginally Posted by dcfcsteve

Home games - yes. Away games - of course not.....Originally Posted by Krstic

I know its off topic (like most on here)
But if you have a season ticket you SHOULD get tickets for all home games (European) and all away games ahead of the people who don't get a season ticket,
ps i don't have one for shel's but i wouldn't begrudge some one who did getting a ticket before me
Also i have no idea how many season tickets shelbourne have
Think the saving isn't even 1 game.Originally Posted by dcfcsteve

Having said that, they've an expensive one out for next season that gives your own seat for each game including Champions League with free programme and tea and a roll or something.
Think i might join that to help out Lennox, guarantee my City v Barca ticket and let me join the prawn sandwich brigade at half-time for summat to eat.

Do you not get your own seat as it is? WUFC have three different types - stand ticket (I've had the same seat basically since the stand was built), ground ticket and there's also some deal where you can get into the bar at half time (not sure what sort of food is there though)Originally Posted by Risteard
I have no idea how many holders there are though.

Well Steve, call me stupid if you like but I cannot see why a season ticket holder would have an automatic right to "hard-to-get" home tickets, yet no rights at all to "hard-to-get" away tickets.Originally Posted by dcfcsteve

How about if Derry guaranteed away tickets to all their season ticket holders then? What would have happened when they only got 500 for the Cork game? You can ony guarantee ticketes if you know that you'll have enough - the club has no control over away games really.Originally Posted by Krstic

Citys season ticket structures below.
I think someone on the official site worked out that you'd actually make a loss on one of them. possibly the family ticket.
The Gold Season Ticket remains the same as last year, allowing holders unreserved admission to all home Cork City FC eircom League matches. For 2006, the Diamond Season Ticket grants holders a reserved seat in the Donie Forde Stand for all home Cork City FC matches (excluding FAI Cup and UEFA Group Stage matches). Meanwhile, the Platinum Season Ticket gives holders a reserved seat in the Platinum Section of the Donie Forde Stand for all home Cork City FC matches, including a complimentary match day programme and half time refreshments at your seat.
The price structure for 2006 season tickets is as follows:
Gold Diamond Platinum
Adults €190 €325 €500
Juvenile
(12-18 year old)/
OAP €115 €200
Schoolboy/girl
( Under 12) €75 €125
Family
(2 Adults & 2 Children) €500 €900

Expensive enough for the stand ticket. Do they say anything about first refusal on cup games or european games though?Originally Posted by Risteard

No, you'd have to get a platinum ticket.
The thing about this though is if tickets for the cup were sold out, they WOULD take money off ya if you were a ticketless gold season-ticket holder in all honesty.
Its a nice kind of corruption.
Yes, all the season tickets are very expensive really imo, especially seen as €13 isn't expensive adult admission relative to other eL clubs.
No student prices either which i think is fair enough.

All I asked for was the opportunity to at least compete with other season tickets holders for "A" ticket.Originally Posted by bigmac
Season ticket holders were not given that opportunity.
No tickets, from Derry's allocation, went on general sale.
Kristic you're right, you should have had first refusal there!
At Shelbourne our season tickets in clude league, league cup and european games, so for the latter you would have to go down and collect your ticket, getting your name crossed off in the process.
I cannot believe the price of Cork's season tickets, do people seriously pay that??? Ours cost €100 for students, €60 for children and €200 for adults (I think, can't remember too well) but the main attraction there being a good saving and european football included in the price!
Like Mark, I have no idea how many we have!
Sitting pretty!!!
Don't know where you got that figure. City would have minimum 500 season ticket holders. I'd expect numbers to increase a lot for next season.Originally Posted by Risteard
If upper half of the stand holders 800 & about at very minimum half that is reserved seating i.e. season ticket holders. This does not include ground season ticket holders for people in the sehd etc...
It's not even first refusal I was after, Just an 'opportunity' of being in with a chance of a ticket.Originally Posted by Drumcondra Red
Sponsors, officials, player and volunteers are very much entitled to tickets but no more so than a season ticket holder, who effectively sponors the team buy purchasing their ticket and making a commitment before a ball is kicked.
