    Richardson claims Texaco award

    Cork City manager Damien Richardson has won the Texaco Sportstar of the year in the soccer category after guiding City to their first league title in over twelve years. It was also the manager's first ever league championship and he could yet make it a double with the FAI Cup final to come in December. More

    Why award it now?

    Why not wait till the end of the year and give it to him for winning the double???
