No, I know nothing about the club's finances, all I was saying is that 1,000 seems like a lot to expect to sell, it's just me that's thinking this, not based on anything, just my opinion!Originally Posted by Red4Eva

good luck2 the bitoffred next season
According to elevenaside.com Chris Breen is quoted as saying:
"I met with Sligo and they made me an offer. They talked to me about money and about their whole set up. They’re going full-time next season and will have 14 full-time players. Of course it was tempting ... but I also met with the Harps board and they are keen for me to stay and we are now discussing new terms."
As far as I know we had 10 full-timers last season didn't we, 14 full-timers suggests that Sean is going to have a decent budget to ensure our survival in the Premier Division next season.
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.
Muhammad Ali
Roy Keane is still a pri*k!
With an extra bit of money we could tempt him to come to us....he is a quality player!
