    my father doesn like much comedy, as he seems to be above wit and sarcasm ( lowest form and all that ) but reggie was far more than that, so saw them all on the re runs about 7 years ago on bbc, and bought the dvds. rising damp doesnt come close.

    i was telling the quotes to someone yesterday and as i read it i got it ( the marvellous that is )!!! 6 hours later!LOL

    do ye not remember when he was late for work and his excuse was brilliant i.e.
    juggernaut jack knifed at geralds cross.LOL probably my favourite one. i have always wanted to use that one, but unfortunately i dont go anywhere near that

    the joke on seamus o'toole from the land of the bogs and the little people was great as well. the dumb irish labourer.
