Will wait and see incase someone goes sniffing around.I have my guesses though.
Just became party to a very interesting rumour that We could be bringing a massive signing here in the next fortnight..not going to say the names mentioned because it may not be true....but the someone thinks its a former player thats currently with a premier squad.
That narrows it to about 5 and the fact that its apparently goin to be a huge name narrows that to 3 by my calculations....
As im not in Galway at the Mo id appreciate any feedback you might get from a bit of sniffing around
Cheers
The Spaniard

it might be Gareth Gorman i think we are releasing him
we dont need gareth gorman, give us o donnell and you have a deal
Gareth is taking a coaching role for sligo.
.. there are plenty of other clubs "sniffing around" for our potential targets, so if anyone has any inside information, or has heard any rumours, please keep them to themselves.
Loose talk costs lives !
PD.
Does this mean we still have to keep quiet about the raid on Chelsea over January??
the cat is out of the bag.The boys from sligo will come in and sign the lot!!
I think the player ye are looking for is a free agent and we are interested in a Premier Division player aswell.....maybe a certain forward who was targeted by Don O'Riordon as a potential signing, only for him to go some where else.
i think we all know who that is but i heard he's pretty happy where he is even if it is mainly on da bench

I see according to the sentinel that Lal has a shopping list of 6 players he want to bring in. Most of the players contract negotiation are at an advanced stage, 3 of which players are ex-players of GUFC. He wants a squad of 22 players as he feels he was putting to much pressure on the u21's he was calling up when needed.
The thing that has amazed him most of all though is that some of the players that he likes came to GUFC looking to join what they see as the club that is going in the right direction rather than him chasing the players !!
Also, Goughie has put his retirement plans back for another season, which is good news.
apparently if those sentinel sources are to be believed then the benchwaremers arent goin to be doin that for much longer!
Happy days are about to return boys!
I can feel it in me water!
just after reading that in the sentinel too. alan murphy, david forde, who else?? dupuy?

how did you come up with those names Red4EvaOriginally Posted by Red4Eva
well they are ex gufc playersOriginally Posted by galwaygirl
forgot about david dupuy the french fella. He would be a good signing and lets face it living in galway is better than dublin.
If david forde bought a house in oranmore then he has to come back if kickr's info was correct.

i know they're ex-gufc players (but there are plenty more as well arent there). i read the same article in The Sentinel and was just wondering how he came up with THOSE ex-players.
in a previous thread it was said that Galway are trying to sign 3 ex players who happen to play in the premier league, all 3 play in the premier and theres a few more.
I dont know if it was PD or kickr who said it.
