When you take away the members that voted for their own team the real results, so far, are, Drogheda: 30, Cork: 17.

It is always good when someone rolls out the political jokes as it is ALWAYS a sign of true desperation and never ever funny. If you are referring to Sinn Fein support in Derry then you could at least check the facts beforehand as SDLP run the council.

It appears that anyone with a bad thing to say about Cork is jealous. Stop sounding like a $hels fan it doesn't suit.

Glad I met so many genuinely nice Cork fans on Friday because people like you give the wrong impression.

What a complete crock of rubbish you have just posted...firstly i met some decent Derry fans also young man but every game City play i have chatted with decent fans from there clubs also...dont get ahead of yourself there...

I am sure if we dug down deep into all the Derry players past we could surely find one of them has been a bad boy and one stage ..but people like you will never admit that about your own..Egotistical?..you are telling me that there is not one ego in the Derry team?..George is one of the most approachable players i have met...he is great with the fans and also with young kids...

And you do sound jealous considering we just beat you Friday and you are on here complaing about posts on our official site...i have not seen any Cork City fan making the same comments about Derry people in any shape or form..

You threw in a sly comment about Georgie...call the Sinn Fein one a leveller..

Jesus you are a tough one

George may be a legend with Cork fans but he seems to be hated by every other fan in the EL. People are willing to acknowledge his brilliance but it's his behavioiur in diving, whining e.t.c. that gets to people.

Yeah I am so jealous that I want Cork to win the cup!

Lets agree to disagree to stop this topic becoming a futile shouting match. Good luck on the 5th

Not tough but just passionate about Cork City FC...the greatest club ever

George is hated because he is one of the best and its as simple as that...if he signed for Derry/Shels or anyone else in this league you boys would wet yourselves....i dislike Jason Byrne from Shels bigtime...but i could learn to love him if he was decent enough to sign for us...

One of your players which you know had a problem recently with his private life..i am sure you boys would support him still..we can all make mistakes...

And yes i will agree to disagree on some points but not about the name calling of Georgie...its bad form...

Of course fans of Cork City on the Cork City mb think we are the best club.
I suppose nobody ever on Derry thinks they support the best club?
And of course if Cork people talking about Cork on a Cork mb bother you so much, DON'T GO THERE.

I voted Cork but after reading some of the sad case stories from Drogs fans am feeling sorry for them.....

I think Cork deserve as big a season as possible because the football they have played has been absolutely brilliant, and I am a big fan of Rico ( as is every other fan of any of the other clubs he has managed -total Gent, superhero! ). I was delighted for Rico when he won the league.

It would be nice for Drogs to win a trophy though, great for the town and probably for the league.

As a prediction I would imagine that Drogs have quite a good chance seeing as Cork will still be celebrating and they are also missing some key players.

I'd like to see Cork win it simply on the basis that they are the superior footballing side but if the Drogs outplay them in the final then I'll be delighted for them.

At the end of the day I just want to see a great cup final which will be a fine showcase for our domestic game.

Grudgingly Drogheda. God help us all if Cark win the double...I'd purposefully inflict deafness upon myself not to hear their triumphalism.

    Hmmmm... tricky.

On one hand my girlfriend is from Cork, but on the other Drogheda are supposedly our new best enemies. On balance I think I just want Rovers to go down.

Where exactly has been all this "triumphalism"?
Or are you simply expressing yet another knee jerk reaction against City like a few others?
