To be fair to poor student he never exagerated the incedent. He called it nut-throwing from his first or second post. It's not a serious incident but if I've paid a tenner into a game I want to be able to watch it without having nuts thrown at me. On a scale from one to ten, it's as annoying as having someone in Lansdown give out to you for singing at a match.

Seeming as even the small number that turned up managed to throw something at us for no reason, something I've never seen happen at Belfield, it's hardly complete and utter rubbish.

When asked to explain further I gave an account of the incident, I did not exaggurate, I called it as it went. You're trying to turn this back on me but you have made the mountain out of a molehill here. You take exception that I would have the audacity to insinuate your fans are not angels (which is all about I did!) and you go off on one.

DFX is posting rubbish. The srfc board have acted when required. Since then there have been no incidents and our home fans base has gone from 1,100 to 1,600 in the mean time. Despite performances on the pitch.

Granted, there are a few changes, but changes happen at every club over time. It's for the reasons highlighted in Bold, why I see your club as no different to Home Farm. Also, as a supporter of a rival Dublin club, I personally find your club's official title offensive, and why I refuse to recognise it.

Furthermore, you wear predominantly the same colours as before, (i.e. blue), you play in the same ground, you have the same fan base (numbers), and your team continue to yo-yo up and down the divisions as before. Therefore, I see no difference between your real name, and it's official title. So I will continue to refer to your club as Home Farm, period.

The same(ish) colour of jerseys is purley coincidental, with the newly created name of 'Dublin City FC' involved we were hardly gonna have red or pink.

Are you serious? It's a blatant attempt to copy the Dublin GAA colours for marketing purposes! FFS, if DC tried to claim they were a continuation of Home Farm then the same people would be on here nit picking over how they're a totally different club

Jaysus , we're really put out by travelling the extraordinary, back-breaking distance, of about 2 kms to Tolka. Long trip!!

As we'll have roughly 90% of the support, it will feel like another home game to us. Wouldn't have any complaints about facing penalties if necessary, I'd happily take them now.

FYI, we won our last shoot-out at Tolka, against Cherry Orchard in the LSC, in 2000.
