You forgot to mention the highlight of the evening as club bigwig Poor Student awarded Stephen Hurley with the New Player of the Year Award on the pitch at half time. Some suit, a fat bloke, also gave Quigley something after the match.
Also worth making note of, John83 had some stuff thrown at him by some Rovers knackers when we equalised. Totally unecessary. Before someone suggests John did nothing even mildly provoking unless you consider cheering a goal against Rovers an offence.
I was informing an old lecturer of mine at half time about this up and coming young fella called Finn who I felt could be the answer to our link up problems with the front line from midfield. Didn't I look the smart chap.I like the look of Finn, his movement looks very good and he likes to probe openings and run into space beyond the strikers. Gary Dicker could take note. I predict big things for Finn and see him ultimately as a far more effective player than Dicker. A very well taken goal.
