i would drop the general boards in the premier and first division sections though - they are covered in the eircom league board
If I make them categories, they're green on the homepage and look icky. No-one'll post there anyway, or if they do they'll most likely be ignored. Let's see how it pans out.

yea thanks adam, but does anyone think its too cluttered now , what with listing Premier Division heading and then all the clubs there aswell.. i mean now you cant tell what clubs have new posts from looking at the front page straight away ( apart from using the drop down menu and seeing which club has an * beside it)Originally posted by Vetinari

twas just very handy IMO to load the foot.ie page and see straight off what clubs and sections had posts added..

It may have been handy, but it took too long to load on ISDN, never mind 56k. It's one or the other, you can't have both.

All those wee subheadings in the Premier and First sections look nasty. All it saves is a single click. However, in my new attempts at being positive, I'll say this for it: It gives me something to moan about
