Surely we will sign him now, considering its for free.
sign 'im up!!
him and o grady in the middle of the park next year would be a dream partnership
yeah then heffernan on the right, faz on the left...midfield sorted. then feeney maybe. foley, mccann, just need about 1or2 more midfielders after that!
that would be a savage midfield, even without Heff we could have Raf on the right.we need to get a right back that will make the position his own aswell.
Just seen aswell that Glen Fitzpatrick, the striker was released too...not sure but i think hes good! might be one to try for!
Nope, a move to Drogheda is 99% complete.Originally Posted by feo123

Not sure about this. I made this point before but if he's not making it at Shels and Longford don't appear interested in holding on to him then you'd have to wonder.
The lesson from Harps is of you don't strengthen then you'll go back down so the players to come in need to be better. Are you telling me that Alan is all that much better than say Ciaran Foley ?
Don't get me wrong Alan is a fine player, but not sure if he would strengthen the squad all that much.
He would be a great asset to Rovers next season if we get him
I heard that mark rossiter signed somethin for us...maybe one of those pre-contract agreements?
i heard that alright but does he not need insurance and i heard he wont get that because of his injuries
In todays papers it's saying he's on his way to Drogheda United
he wont get insurance as a pro he has to go semi-pro AFAIKOriginally Posted by Redtop

i presume its rossiter because he would ve got paid off for his knee injury that ended his sunderland career, but on the topic of drogs showing interest in him they had richie sadlier on their books registered as an amateur due to similar circumstances so could be more of the same
