Shelbourne have released seven players as manager Pat Fenlon looks to make changes to his squad for next season.
Glen Fitzpatrick, Curtis Fleming, Hussain Yazdani, Kevin Doherty, Alan Cawley, Ger Rowe and Derek Pender have all been released as the club cut their budget slightly having failed to qualify for the Champions League.
Fitzpatrick is expected to join Drogheda United while Fleming is returning to England. Doherty who was on loan at Waterford this season is though to be Bohemians-bound.
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........

not many surprises in that list, bit surprised to see glen fitspatrick on the list, they must be fairly confident about keepin crow so.... hopefully we can snap up cawley before anyone else get to him

No surprises on the list. I think to most Shels fans the surprise is who isnt on it?

Im delighted Nutsy chopped off the dead wood. Shels havent been functioning properly all season. I cant wait for next season. We have the monkey off our back now and can concentrate on Setanta Cup and the E.L. and of course Europe.
And who is that??Originally Posted by Gareth
I thought Longford weren't going to be signing Cawley, especially what with not playing him for the last couple of months?
I doubt we will eitherOriginally Posted by pineapple stu
Ever get the feelin' you have been cheated?
i would be very surprised if the town sign cawley.he didn't really picture at all during his loan period with us.he only had a handfull of appearances.not taking away from is talent,i think hes a great footballer, lots of raw talent.he just needs to get settled somewhere and establish himself in a team.in saying all that,i'd be delighted if he did sign for longford.......
The only interesting answers are those which destroy the questions!
Didint realise Shels had so many below average players. Why did they have them in the first place? They obviously wanted to win that u21 cup badly!
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
