    Turning on the lights

Bray and District Chamber of Commerce has chosen Bray Wanderers veteran Kieran "Tarzan" O'Brien and mascot Rocky to switch on the town's Christmas lights this year.

The honour has been given to the club in recognition of the team's achievement this season, in retaining Premier Division status, reaching the FAI Cup Semi-Final, and winning the Under-21 Cup.

Tarzan and Rocky will perform their duty at the Holy Redeemer Church, Main St, Bray, on Saturday 26 November at 5.15pm.

    Super!

Tarzan deserves it, well done. Nice of the town to involve us, after a great season.

Sharks are as tough as those football fans who take their shirts off during games in England in January, only more intelligent.

It’s a really nice gesture from the town. Tarzan's been a great servant to the town of Bray and the Wanderers. Fair play - he deserves a bit of fame!
