I've heard all will be revealed later this week.
I have scattered my dreams underneath your feet, tread carefully, cos it's my dreams you walk on.
portadown's gary hamilton has had his offer of a new contract turned down. 2 irish league club and 2 eL clubs have already spoken to him. although it's unlikely we could afford him i'd say connor will have a chat with him
"Even if the sun ceases to rise, Even if the sea ceases to flow, Even if the wind stops to blow, The name of Sligo Rovers will shine and shine forever like the morning, glinting star in the sky."
It's announced on Ocean FM this morning, that a press conferance is organised for lunchtime Fri, in the Radisson. Up to 4 new players introduced.
Looks like he's got his English League 1 target. I wouldn't be surprised if he's got Chris Breen as well. Sean does not give up easily.

2 of them are Foy and Turner
another may be the makenzie lad who is currently on trial.the three of them are staying in the radisson at the moment.avenalaaf is another one of these boys who joined the forum at the end of the season.id say he hasn't a clue who the target is.what i can tell you is that sean is after a midfielder from darlington.i don't know his name yet though.
Yeah, right, Darlington is falling down with midfielders !!!. Don't be so feckin' lazy, do your research through the Darlington site and then you might be able to stick a name on him.
No, according to the other Rovers forum, it's those two plus four moreOriginally Posted by gustavo

connor has been talking to hamilton of portadown who arsed about too long over a contract he was offered that it was withdrawn but he wont be allowed to leave until the end of the season and as for turner being released by derby for a bit of a scrap down town i think there was a wee bit more to it than that
Care to elaborate a bit on that?Originally Posted by foxfordred

Not sure what all the fuss is about Chris Breen. Scored 3 goals i think last season while McHugh got something like 13 in a struggling side. If he's not interested in joining that's fair enough. Not sure he's worth chasing. It's not as if there is a queue of clubs on his trail.
sure he signed browne and he allways drunk a lot lol
we could list a good few players if we are going to do this

Premier Division newcomers Sligo Rovers have stepped up their interest in Portadown striker Gary Hamilton – but with little funds to spend, will not be able to bring the Northern Ireland international to the Showgrounds before his contract expires in the summer.
Hamilton faces an uncertain future at Shamrock Park, with Ports manager Ronnie McFall withdrawing his latest contract offer earlier this week.
The former Blackburn Rovers man had been offered the new deal in November, but had yet to sign it two months on.
Although Linfield and Drogheda United are keen on making a quick swoop for the 25-year-old front man, McFall insists he will stay at Portadown for the remainder of the Carnegie Irish Premier League season – when Sligo manager Sean Connor will hope to make him a Rovers player.
Connor told the Irish Sun: “I know that Ronnie McFall is looking for a fee now but I’ve got a budget at Sligo so we’ll wait for him. I’d be looking more at getting a pre-contract agreement tied up with him.
“I spoke to Gary and we are interested in signing him. He’s a top player. He’s an international and has a good touch and a real eye for goal and, at 25, is the right kind of age.”
