Not fair , naming a particular player, Falvey has had some outstanding performances for us.Last night, and I can understand your disgust was a team performance in so far as nobody performed, no leader and to be honest about it no desire. The dog on the street knew this was the big one and the team looked deflated, lethargic and like 11 lads who just met up for the first time...ok there were 3 blunders and three goals but I wouldn't focus on the unfortunate players, it was a team disaster.
But now it's not all doom and gloom, on paper the Dubs have the easy run in but we still control our fate. It,s time for the team to mature mentally now and take the last two games by the throat.. to win both they have to play like 11 men possessed ,as if their lifes were on it, they have the skill but now it is time for charachters to emerge in this team.
The management have to take full responsibility for last nights debacle and accept that a formation must be decided on the merits of each game not on it's previous success or failure for that matter. This is a game of opinions.

At the start of the season when it looked like yet another average season for the Rams, I'm sure if you'd been offered this position with 2 games to go you'd have snapped the hand of them.

The Ramblers have had to operate on peanuts again this season and have done remarkably well to get into this position IMO. And who's responsible for all this??.....the players and management that you wish to chastise.

Hope ye get the playoff spot lads ahead of the Dubs!

Yet again we find another Person who talks a lot of Nonsense.
It is not that long ago that we were 10 points behind sligo and earlier we were 10 points behind Dublin and the Great spporters of Cobh had given up on the team and said they had no hope.
Now that it looks like they may get to the playoffs the great support is back out for a few games when they think there might be a bit of Glory and ready to knock the team at all times.

Stephen has done a good Job to get us where we are , last season we were closer to bottom of the table then top so we have had an improved year why would you get rid of him. He will build on this next season and we will get promoted.

yes the team are young and the management also is relatively inexperienced, to get rid of Hendo would be a mistake as he has done great work on the lowest budget in the league and last Saturday was a real lesson to be learned and also what happened in Sligo was one to be learned. To lose focus at such a critical point in the season is down to inexperience and indiscipline... for next season (and I must stress that I still have hope for the play--offs), the Budget has to be increased, the squad has to be strengthened, a scout has to be employed and the club although vastly improving ,(credit to the present committee) has to become more business like in order to generate income.
When you compare to last season the club has come on leaps and bounds however you must plan for the next, look who's coming down .. Finn Harps, Kilkenny if they keep their squad are going to be formidable, Limerick will definitely strengthen so next season will be harder without doubt .

But enough of that, all can be redeemed by beating Dundalk and Galway, it's an opportunity for Hendo and his players to silence the critics, show us that there is real charachter in the squad..we know the comradry is top drawer
Impossible is nothing ...C'MON the Rams

    2 things....
1..Yee won't beat us in two weeks in yere place, were buzzing at the moment and bet the team yee lost to 3-0 the last night,3-1 recently.Dundalk is also an extremely tough plaace to go and get a win..they have drawn 8 in a row...why do you think ye'll change that?
2.Do you not think we will be a force to reckon with next year.I mean how do think limerick will be and not us?Were ahead of them and tbh a good bit better. We will like most others strengthen our squad and IMO we will be champions next year.

OK Conor, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, now here's a comment and it's not to make you feel better but I've already wrote in this forum that the footballing sides in this Division are Cobh,Sligo,Limerick and yes Galway.
    If all goes to plan this is how things will unfold;
    Dundalk 1 Cobh 2, Cobh 3 Galway 1; Shams 2 Cobh 2, Cobh 2 Shams 1,
then up we go and for next seasons first Division

    >>>>>>>P W D L F A PT
    Galway 36 30 3 3 67 10 93 Champions

    how about that Conor.

All a bit academic lads when next year we'll probably have a 22 team league before the elite league starts in 2007.

At least that's what most clubs (and if Shamrock Rovers get relegated it might frighten a few premier clubs to vote for it as well).

    Mischief

Lads im not trying to cause mischief here
    But think of this
There is talk of Keely leaving and going to Newry when he
    finishes the season.
Now who is his right hand man going to be?.
    Yes John Gill
Dublin City are playing Athlone last day
Now will Keely be in a stronger contract negotiating
position if DC are in the play offs? you bet
Now if Athlone give fringe players and young lads a run against DC
You heard here first the reasons why.
Make up your own minds about conflict of interests!
