Aint that the truth!Three years running, an Eircom rep phoned me up asking if I would like to convert from dial up to BB. About a month before each call, my connection speeds dropped below half of what they usually were, and they returned to their usual "speed" a few weeks later. After year 3 I reckoned it probably was not a coincidence, and challenged the rep who called me about it. He admitted it within a heartbeat, and then went on to tell me where to complain about it. I went through the motions, heard some pretty convincing shock - horror reactions, and promises that "this will be fully investigated" etc. That was two years ago. I took the BT internet offer about 18 months ago and I am delighted with it. Wonkers in Eircom!

That's some bizarre contract you have with Eircom kickR. Can you send on a copy to me please, I've never heard of anyone getting a non-standard contract for DSL with Eircom and I'd like to post the details on Boards.ie.
