    Overnight in Cobh

GUST are organising an overnight trip to Cobh, for our last game of the season on Saturday 19th November. A bus will leave from Fibber Magees at 1.00pm sharp on Saturday, returning to Galway on Sunday 20th. We will be staying at the Bellavista Hotel. The overall cost is E60. A deposit of E30 is required for the trip, it must be paid by the weekend, preferably at Friday nights game v Limerick FC.

If you wish to reserve a place, or have any queries, please pm me directly,
or contact Ronan Coleman at (087) 6972823/ ronancoleman@eircom.net.

Some of the players were telling me Friday night that a lot of teams are pushing for the last round of games to be played at 3pm! Ye might have to rearrange yer time for leaving Galway that morning !!!

that wouldnt bother me in the slightest Terry,
In fact it would give us a few extra hours in Cobh that evening and night to sample and take in all the sights

Just saying that ye will want to find out sooner rather than later as there mightn't be a bus available on short notice if the time of departure changed from 1pm to 9am

    Thanks Terry

Chopping and changing fixtures again !

Ony re-inforces the perception of the First Division as a pub league.
Doubt if Cobh would be too keen to change their kickoff time - surely
they would expect a larger crowd at 7.45 ?

Just passed by Fibbers, the United fans are starting to gather 90 minutes before departure. Our away support has been a credit to the club this year.

Lets hope we get the win tonight to finish off a great end to the season.

    Come on United !
