    Question Who was brave enough....

..to put a bet on us at the start of the season for the title? I got them at 8-1 with Paddy Powers. Put a tenner on it so I come away with 80 plus my 10 back when we win it. Not too bad , any others?

I should have put a few bob on Rovers, but if I did it would surely have jinxed them!! Told a mate of mine who is not a Rovers fan but likes a good bet to back them though at 9-1, and the silly fu*ker is crying now cos he didn't listen!
The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.

They are only sick because they are 'marooned' in the first division!

You couldn't be more wrong. Me personally, I'm delighted yer promoted and hope ye stay up there permanently (don't do a harps for god sake!). A big gamble was made by the board to bring in Connor (a relatively unknown) and letting him bring in his own players, which has paid off nicely.

Again congrats, and the best of luck next season as we all know there is now a serious gap between the 2 divisions. Hopefully we will join ye up there the season after next and start loosening the strangle hold Dublin football has on the league.

Up this year Sligo and Cobh
Down this year harps and rovers

up next year Galway and harps
down next year UCD and St. Pats

I hear ya. Our run came maybe 2 or 3 games to late to be honest, but there is no point in looking backwards. We must finish well and hopefully with a few good strong signings continue where we left of next season.

Can we have Stephen O' Donnell if Sean doesn't want him? He was a fantastic prospect when I seen him last play (putting 2 past us in a 3-1 defeat).

Yeah, he was with their underage teams so I'd say he wouldn't mind returning. On a related note, SC must keep him, he's had a few bust up's with players now it's time he forgot about them. O'Donnell is a very good player and one that we should be hanging on to and he should be playing him. It's time Connor forgot about what happened and make peace with the man, if he does it again, then drop him.
