The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Nope, I've learned at this stage now that the First Division is an unknown league to most of the media and that's why I'm happy we're leaving it

    Hi all,

Hugh here from Comado Ltd, the geezers who set up Sports.ie.

We do actually cover Eircom League first division stuff, we just haven't categorised all our content correctly yet as we're only live a few weeks. For instance try this link for Monagahan Utd stories. Best way to search for first div stuff is the search page for the moment. We do have easily accessible tables / standings for first division results, and we'll have fixtures sorted out very soon.

Good to see the site is getting some traffic / talked about even though we haven't fully launched it yet. I'm thinking of contacting Adam (the owner of Foot.ie) with regard to showing Sports headlines from the site on here for you all? It'd be good to know what you - and he - thinks of that.

Re: the shop, we'll have euro pricing in a few weeks.

    Thanks!

    Hugh

Ok fair enough. But the Sligo Rovers page hasn't been updated in a good while. Last story was about the Cork game back in September, we've just won the league, surely that's something to write about?

Anyway, good luck with the whole site
