    WC Tickets Refund

Has anybody that successfully applied for TST tickets received their refund yet? I'm still waiting for my refund, these boys in FIFA are slower than the FAI..
    Resign, now!

still waiting myself. To be fair I expect to wait 4-6 weeks since we knew we weren't gonna get through.

they will most likely wait for the playoffs and do all teams in one hit. Its a good excuse for keeping the money for as long as possible.

All appplicants who were allocated TST's for countries who did not qualify (like us) or who were unsuccesful in the first phases of the ticket sales are being asked if they want to be considered for 'conditional tickets', i.e tickets that remain unsold or that may be returned.

By registering you can nominate (by venue) up to seven matches for which you would like to be considered for a ticket should tickets become available. You will be placed on a waiting list, the pecking order for which will be decided by a ballot. You can register up to 30 November and can apply for tickets for yourself and up to three others.

If you don't want to register and just want a refund then you don't need to do anything and all refunds are expected to be made, six weeks after the end of the qualifying competition. As the qualifying competition ended on 16 November, we should expect our refunds by 28 December.

Just noticed on credit card statement received today that the refund came through on 1 December. Fair play to FIFA, they got it right this time.
