    Marathon

    Lads,

    Any advice on getting to Belfied and avoiding marathon madness today
    Tifo poles, sausage rolls and a few goals.

    No worries it will be well over by the time you are heading toward Belfield.

    Helicoptor. Unfortunately, the marathon is wrapping around the useful bits of Belfield. Your best bet would be to come in the Clonskea entrance, same as the number 11 bus route - out from town via Ranelagh. I'm not sure where else the marathon is going though. Sorry.

    Not doubt there will be some clown in a diving suit, a geriatric and potentially Mary Harney yet to finish when we are heading that direction.

    Yes but they will be in single file, and on their way back to the city by then, and not blocking the traffic too much.

    It's still going strong but it's all single file on the footpath now. The roads are all open around here.
