Arsenal lifted the FA cup at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff yesterday. They defeated Chelsea (who had the better of the play) 2-0 with goals from Ray Parlour and the on-form Freddie Ljungberg.
Meanwhile in Hampden Park, Rangers beat old firm rivals Celtic 3-2 in the SFA cup final. John Hartson gave Celtic the lead before Lovenkrands equalised. Bobo Balde restored Celtics lead before Rangers captain Barry Ferguson eqalised. The game seemed destined for extra time when Lovenkrands popped up with an injury time winner for Rangers.
The Arsenal goals were both very good, even if against the run of play. Lovenkrands first goal was a very good finish as well. Overall though, neither game was too great IMO.
