    Associated words in predictive text

Ok, I presume most people use predicitive text and will know what I'm talking about. You know the way that certain sequences of letters will bring up more than one word, we'll it's funny how some of them are linked by association.

    A few examples are,
    Gone - Home
    Lips - Kiss
    Cake - Bake
    Cakes - Baker
    More? - Nope!
    Puppy - Pussy
    Pint - Shot - Riot

Well I find them funny anyway.

    Anyone have anymore?

some fella was on teh metro over here saying he typed in the word "earlier" and "darkie" appeared as the first word, he said he had never used the word and certainly never wrote it, as some phones remember the most often used word for a sequence of characters.

No not really, just can't be arsed with it. I suppose I could be guilty of not really giving it a chance but it's hardly going to change my life so I'll stick with my "old skool" way.

I don't use predictive text on my fone. I don't think it has it but on my old fone, the blue Nokia everyone had about 3 years ago, words which were in my dictionary (apparently) were blowjob and handjob!

You wern't watching Jonathan Ross by any chance were ya?

Had a mate Jase who would always come up as "lard", left a few "www"'s on the end of messages, my lass Char initially comes up as "bias", "me" and "of" is an annoying on...and Leonie initiall comes up as "jennif" which is wierd because Leonie is a name and I've never heard of anyone called "Jennif"

    Red face

I know...I don't see the point in wanting something to predict what I want to write.....I know what I want to write already without it needing to be predicting it, thank you..

Could predictive text be used as an excuse by the defendant at some point? "I never intended to threaten her m'Lud it was the damned Predictive Text on my mobile!"

    Couple of other ones:
When I type in my mate Richard's name as Richie, it shows up as Shagge
Similarly Conor shows up as booms!
