Thats some consolation anyway to the Red Sox fans. Small small consolation. Fcuk of Jeter you smarmy git. I suppose the cards will walk it this time, but wouldn't underestimate the White Sox momentum if they get past the Angels.
The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

As a Yankees fan, of course I'm dissappointed but not all that surprised. The trio of ARod, Sheffield and Matsui didnt get the job done last night. Jeter as usual did his heroics but cant do everything on his own all of the time.
Well I'm done watching baseball for this year, I dont care who wins it just as long as the red sox didnt.

I'm of a similar feeling although I'm glad the planks didn't.

big skrewup by the umpires at the end of the angels-white sox game where he called the 3rd strike by the White Sox hitter but never called him out and he just ran to first base and another runner came in from second base to win it. Should never have happened.

White Sox vs The Astros would be a fantastic World Series, Astros got some decisions from the umpire last night - including the last double play.

Delighted for the White Sox. That's a cracking win.

Delighted for the White sox myself as well.

that was an amazing save for Brad Lidge at the end of the game The best save i have ever seen without doubt. They got Pujols at home plate and then that incredible double double play at the end - amazing stuff. Lidge has started to look a bit shaky lately Chicago must be hot favorites now.

I knew Lidge was starting to look shaky - that was an incredible way to finish! Shades of the red Sox last year - Money is on St Louis now to come and win thier two home games and win in 7 - for the second year running i think.

For the first time ever, the state of Texas will host a World Series game. The Astros won the NLCS with a 5-1 win Wednesday, more...
