Women's under-19's get tough draw
The Irish under-19 women's side have been handed a tough draw as groups were drawn for the 2nd Round Qualifying Phase of the 2005/06 UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship today.
Ireland have been drawn in group 5 alongside Slovenia, Scotland and Germany.
Manager Sue Ronan had hoped to avoid superpowers Germany "but stated that her team would hold no fears against their opposition after Ireland’s fantastic start to the competition with three straight wins against Latvia, Estonia and Norway in the 1st Qualifying Round."

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
