The way this season is going though i wouldnt be at all suprised to see Pats nick a result in the RSC on friday to add another twist to whats promising to be a very interesting relegation battle! Up until last night had hoped for the blues to beat Pats, after last night though i'm not so sure!!![]()
Either way if i was a pats fan now i'd be genuinely worried given their form over the last few weeks! A severe lack of goals & without a league win since july or so isnt the kind of form you want right now with a revitalised Waterford seemingly getting their act together!

Thomas Davis have said they will be the last man standing, they were WRONG!!
SRFC will NEVER die!!
Trust me DvB, we're ****ing petrified. Can't see us scoring a goal.
In saying beat Waterford and one more win and we're safe...

Well it made the back page of the star.. The ref not turning up that is.
Was it a case of the ref not turning up or was there an oversight in selection of a ref?

With a bit of luck. Feel an enormous sense of relief after the game against Bray. We actually seem to be playing alright and those three points will be huge. Would have been a big blow psychologically to have thrown away a 2 goal lead, and 5 points is a big gap to have back to Harps. I wouldn't be confident of catching a team 5 points ahead of us, and the way things are going if I was a Harps fan I'd nearly be hoping Waterford win against Pats and try to catch them in freefall then.Originally Posted by The Stars
I also must say that I had my doubts about Pat Dolan, but he seems to have brought a bit more professionalism into the preparations and if we're still a premier team at the end of the season I'll be more than happy to shake his hand and wish him all the best.

Herald AM have a report on Waterford's 2-0 win.
It was a 2-2 draw (res) according to Aertel.
The Indo claim Waterford won 3-2.
I assume waterford did win.
take the average and we won 2 and a third to one and a third!Originally Posted by gspain

In fairness to aertel, they had the score right last night, minutes after it happened

A thundering disgrace. More ammunition for the barstoolers. How the fcuk can we ever attract anyone to our league when even the schoolboys leagues dont have problems like this?
We get fined for having a factual banner and they dont bother appointing a ref![]()
Too busy wetting themselves about getting some has been english manager over to replace Kerr. I guess the fact that John Delaney snr has a season ticket at manure says it all really. Dolan is right a total broom throughout merrion sq.

I see Dolan had anyone rant moaning in the papers today. Whats the point in moaning about something you can't change?
Oh so we should say nothing and carry on as normalOriginally Posted by pete
Its only people like Dolan who is at the coal face who can shame the complete melons in charge into resigning or at least sort out the mess that is our league.

the point is that while delaney and his lickspittles are organising a media smear campaign against kerr they arenet doing their primary job. organising football in this country.
if delaney wants rid of kerr for non-qualification, whoever 'forgot' should be sacked in post genesis fai.
do your ****ing day to day job delaney you ****
Kerr was saying it for years before Dolan. Rico's the same. But it always boils sdown to that "turkeys voting for christmas" dilemma

It was wrong when I checked it and assumed 2-2 was the correct result.Originally Posted by Dodge
When you get the result you don't tend to check Aertel for the rest of the night in case they change it. Had a laugh when I read the Herald AM but then even a bigger one when I realised Waterford actually won the game.
I know I'm daft to still believe Aertel after all these years of mistakes.
It is really really frustrating as a football fan to get a result and then be told it was not correct.
Isn't that the worst part of it? Playing into the hands of the anti-LOI media. That game should have made headlines for being one of the most entertaining games of the season. An absolute incident-filled cracker. Blues two up, penalty save, UCD comeback, late, late winner. What more could you ask for? The vast majority of games in our league have three goals or less including a disproportionate amount of 1-0 wins. Last night was a thrilling game that could have highlighted all that is good about eircom League football with the goals stretched from the 2nd to the 92nd minutes. I haven't seen any papers yet, but I presume they all focus on the FAI incompetence which over-shadowed a memorable game. Merrion Square should hang their heads in shame and apologise in particular to the Waterford United fans who made it home at 1.30am on a Monday night.Originally Posted by RonnieB

Mind you, if he says that whoever was at fault should get the sack, I'd agree with him.
