I went to primary school with one of the Conways,Laura and she always said that her and her sisters are releasing an album....of course we slagged the crap out of her....but she always wanted fame...now she has it.

I came here in good faith to ask people to provide support for four Irish girls but a minority of people just can not keep their opinions to themselves.

I am delighted however that the majority of the people who viewed my initial post just read it and decided that it was not for them and just left, at least they have some decency and respect not like the minority who posted nonsensical responses.

So dahamsta, better get rid of this post quick before people see just how immature you really are and toss me out on my arse, lucky it is virtually because I can imagine you are the type of guy who in the real world would be incapable of dealing with any sort of confrontation.

Didn't even know they were on X-Factor?

In fact - if she walked up to me and gave me a well earned fong in the boll1x for saying she'd a charred, smouldering head bearing the concavity of a shovel I wouldn't know who she was?

Besides ...there's less distressing ways to get famous? Plunging a loaded bus off a cliff ....replacing the head of the marian statue in Lourdes with the head of one those annoying talking baby dolls (wzzzzzzzz "I've gone caca in my nappy!!!" wzzzzz) ....cutting off the power at a cremetorium when they're only "half baked" and opening a hot dog stand outside....

What do you mean you never heard of her since You're a star....still means you know who they are therefor they have some degree of fame in Both Ireland and the other island.

They're not even the best on there, but fair fúcks to them for trying.

Tbh, the best bit of the show is the gommos in the rehearsals. Now that's over...yawn.

They have been trying to make it for a while now, They had previously released 2 maybe 3 songs, all of which got local airplay. I met them twice when they came in for interviews and to be honest, they were very "up themselves", not friendly at all.

Having read what Alan had to say in the run up to the show, I was actually hoping that they got eliminated! Sorry Alan, but you done neither yourself nor the girls any favors with your attitude on this site last week. As a result, they will not be getting my vote (not that I would have voted anyway) and furthermore, I will be rooting for them to be eliminated next week! It will be difficult though cause that Chico lad is some wakner!

Appears I may be wrong here. There was another 4 girl band on theEurovision thing who I maintain were the conways but someone else I was talking to reckons it wasn't them. As I don't watch it I'm ready to be corrected. I read a few paragraphs of an interview with them in one of the sunday paper supplements months ago but lost interest when they started on about what a profound inspiration Celine, Shania and a whole host of other MOR/AOR muck was on them.
They've chosen a bland, tasteless, relatively safe path that I'm sure will win them plenty of coverage in this country at least so they'll not be needing my help.

I don't watch any X-Factor Eurovision, Eurostar or any other similar muck. Didn't know they (conways) were on it til Alan come on here spamming the board and being snide towards other posters.

PS -caught a bit of X-Factor yesterday as I was in my mams for Lunch. Jesus wept!!!

They're no worse than any of the other butlins bands on there in fairness.
