If it's the Square Mile you're after, try Ryan's Bar on Carter Lane, EC4 - the heart of the City. They'll be showing the game - there's a 50% chance that's where I'll be watching it.

    London

I don't live in London, but my brother does and he goes to a pub called the Shankee in Ealing North. Its literally across the road from the tube exit. He says its quite good, a proper irish pub

The Shanekee is opposite Ealing Broadway tube, its fairly small, won't have a large screen. O'Donahughes on the Goldhawk Rd, Shepherds Bush is a great pub for Ireland games. Any of you know if we can get this one in Canada?

Is Waxy's in Leicester Square? If its the place I'm thinking of it would be a good place to watch the match.

It definitely on in the big cities. Check the Setanta web site
http://www.setanta.com/ and check out the North America PPV section.

The Lyric is obnoxiously small, and the Landlord is a rabidly narrow-minded Eircom League hating redneck. Anyone on this forum with any self-respect should avoid the place like the clap....

A better version in the area is the big O'Neill's in Wardour Street. Their Music Room on the top floor shows all the Ireland games, has plenty of space, and you have no issues getting a jar.

Though helpfully none of these are in the City.....
