    Thumbs down Connacht Cup Farce

Once again, the arrogance of the men in suits who run the game has reared its ugly head. Following a dictat from Connacht, Sligo Leitrim Schoolboys Clubs face, in most cases, 3/4 games this weekend accross the province

Its hard enough trying to keep the game going using volunteers(!), without clubs scattered to the four winds over one weekend. Why not split the age groups? why was there no earlier draw so that it could be done over 2 weekends? Most Clubs are running on a shoestring, ran by 2 men and a dog and we wonder were the next generation is coming from?

    End of Rant!
