eL players would have done better v Cyprus

    discussing the game this morning,
Put forward the case that an EL XI would have done a better job.
Surely some the likes of Joe Gamble, Danny Murphy, George O'Callaghan , Liam Kearney, Wes Houlahan, Owen Heary, Peter Hutton (if he can play for us) , Gavin McDonnell etc would have done a decent jobs against Cyprus and played their hearts out for us.

Not sure about Hutton, McDonnell or Danny Murphy but they'd definately put more heart in to their performances thats for sure. In fact a couple of anglo-irish would have done us proud. Morrison would have seen a lot more action than Keane.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

Hutton could certainly have played for Ireland,

Cork City in recent european games showed more skill & technique than the whole irish team last saturday.
