Ireland's impressive run at under-19 level continued tonight with a stunning 4-1 win over Italy at Turner's Cross. The result sees Ireland qualify for the "Elite" stage as group winners. A late winner against Moldova sent Northern Ireland through as group runners up.

Ntext year Don Givens will have probably half that team & will probably lose to Malta or someone.
Ireland were impressive, very impressive, every player comfortable on the ball, no one afraid to express themselves, and they played some cracking football in the first half.
italy were sore losers i thought, too.
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?
so what happens now? when is the draw for the next round of fixtures?
