First post...gas conversation going on here Anyway will everyone lay off sean connor, personally i feel he's been the best manager since mcstay. God knows we've had a lot of bad managers..we've had a great season and fingers crossed this pattern of draws will end on sat in cobh. Lot of negativity floating around the supporters and we need to get behind the team and give 100% support in the last few matches. Dissapointing result last nite, wasnt at the game but heard they were terrible. Cant believe low missed the penalty, why did he even take it??

Dont get me wrong, Connor is a good manager but you cant deny the fact that we are having a very poor spell at the moment and it's a crucial part of our season so we cant afford slip-ups now

I'm beginning to think the same. Nobody deserves to go up this season to be honest. If they're was any great team out there then they would have walked it long ago

    Cool

For me The Kildare match on Monday night was the lowest point of the season, In fairness Connors is probably doing his best, he is new to this game if he was an accomplished manager with years of experience he probably wouldn’t be in Sligo.
Apart from that The Team showed no passion no urgency some of them didn’t want to be there. If we had have won in Limerick and in Kildare we could have lifted the league on Saturday night (if my calculations are correct & we beat Cobh). This should have been motivation enough But we couldn’t do it.
The top 7 teams are seperated by 13 pts: We have scored the lowest amount of goals in the top 7 (with DFC): Drawn 14 out of 32 games its hardly stuff legends are made of!

in case you lot hadn't noticed we're unbeaten in 12 league matches now.we have had too many draws but at least we're not losing.another draw on saturday wouldn't be a disaster either and cobh have to play dublin yet too.

At last somebody with a positive outlook on things. It feels like a morgue around here the last few weeks. I know we're not playing as well as we should but as roversforever said we're not losing. If we all go to the showgrounds on Saturday with the attitude of we're not going to win it will filter through to the players on the night.
I predict we'll win 2-0 and we'll all be happy posting here Saturday night
And lets get behing the lads on Saturday. Drum or no Drum, Shedheads or no Shedheads. No excuses.

Well said nephin and roversforever! There has been far too much doom and gloom on the bulletin board recently. This is natural, of course, with the way results have been going. However, now is the time to really get behind the team starting this Saturday night.

With a win against Cobh and Dublin beating them the following Friday, by my reckoning, we could potentially sew up the title at the Monaghan game. So, I'd encourage as many people as possible to sign up for the BORST bus to the Monaghan game and let's support the team home and away for the last few games. Let's help the team to win the title rather than rely on Cobh or Dublin losing it. Roll on Saturday night!
