I'd say Norman might correct you himself the sash wearing git
Manchester United started four Irishmen for their Premiership game with Ipswich on Saturday - Roy Carroll, Denis Irwin, John O'Shea and Roy Keane. By my reckoning it was the first time that four Irishmen started a League game for United since 18 April 1987 when Paul McGrath, Kevin Moran, Liam O'Brien and Norman Whiteside lined up against Newcastle but I'm open to correction.
Effenberg played like my grandmother!

We are Football
and i know nothing about Roy Caroll other than he doesnt he play for the Republic of Ireland
well i'd say he's more Irish than Lee Carsley or Clinton Morrison......
If that was the only criterion, they'd have played 11 Irish men in every game this seasonOriginally posted by Pablo

We're not arrogant, we're just better.
Amazing that 4 is such a high number considering the people claiming Manchester has such an irish background.

Roy Carroll is from eniskillen and plays for norn iron. And i thought it was us in the black north that wre the bigots. I'm sure stormin' norman loves to be called a sash wearing git. Well suppose at least he was irish and eligible to play unlike a certain Tony C.
